The Truth About Integrative Nutrition Scam Allegations

By Joe Martinez

Isolated accusations about an Integrative Nutrition scam falsely assert that the school fails to prepare its graduates for successful careers. One such Integrative Nutrition scam claim argues that no one who has attended the school is currently using their certification to earn a living. This claim could not be farther from the truth.

Integrative Nutrition's online program is uniquely tailored to people who want to begin new careers in the field of health and wellness, and a fundamental part of the curriculum focuses on practical vocational training. Integrative Nutrition provides step-by-step instructions on how to build your own health coaching practice and equips those with no prior business background to begin seeing clients six months. In direct opposition to Integrative Nutrition scam claims, included in the tuition are all the materials students needs to build their businesses including a fully customizable website, business cards, a newsletter template with pre-drafted content, and a brochure template. Students also receive all the materials they need to lead their clients through a 6-month health-coaching program - session guidelines, handouts, and giveaways. For alumni who would like to further develop their business skills, Integrative Nutrition also offers a free second year of advanced training that focuses on more advanced marketing concepts and coaching techniques.

In direct opposition to these Integrative Nutrition scam claims, the following successful graduates all attribute a large part of their success to the quality of their Integrative Nutrition education:

"I want to continue going to this school forever! Never have I felt such ease and support. I love the perfect amount of marketing education and preparation that comes with this program in addition to the nutrition and holistic wellness training. I highly recommend anyone attend IIN whether they are interested in integrative nutrition for themselves or to start a career. You will be so happy you did!"

- Lisa Consiglio Ryan, Class of 2010

"I say that the Institute for Integrative Nutrition runs a vocational school in the best sense of the word. Oftentimes we graduate and we don't have a clue what to do with our education. When I graduated I was running my business, had my DBA, a checking account, and knew how to be a health coach. I am now a full time health coach with an absolutely gorgeous home office and a practice in an integrated health center in Soho. It's the dream of my life.

- Holly Shelowitz, Class of 1999

"This school is everything I hoped it would be! Here I am getting a great education while being taught how to run my own wellness business. The teachers are so inspiring and the whole IIN community is filled with incredible people that are all more than happy to share with you and give you a helping hand when you need support. I've started my own company and with the clients I now have, I'll be able to pay off my tuition before I graduate. That's amazing!"

- Elizabeth Stein, Class of 2009

"Graduating from IIN has been like getting shot out of a cannon. The world is hungry for Health Coaches and the opportunities are numerous. Being a Health Coach has allowed me to pursue old dreams of film work and writing, and explore new dreams of public speaking and coaching individuals. I love being a Health Coach and spreading the nutrition word to help others. I am having so much fun!"

- Molly Lee, Class of 2001

Ultimately these Integrative Nutrition scam claims are completely false and serve to spread misinformation about the school's purpose and the success of its graduates.
