What does physical fitness mean?
Physical fitness means that a person maintains a healthy weight for
their age, gender and body type; it means they can work at an elevated
heart rate for approximately 20 minutes and recover normal respiration
and heart rate in about a minute; it means a person can walk briskly and
still be able to carry on a conversation; it means the person's diet
includes all the necessary food groups and a generous supply of good
vitamin/mineral/etc. supplements that the person has educated themselves
about, which is another part of fitness: taking control of your health
and health care. A fit person is limber, able to perform regular
activities without any difficulties and sees the dentist regularly.
